Kristie and Dieter founded Texas Asiatic Archery to share their passion for traditional Asiatic archery and create a welcoming community in Texas. Both are certified Mamluk Academy instructors and specialize in historical Mamluk techniques.

Kristie, a creative by trade, brings her technical background as a designer to building TAA’s community for both new and experienced archers. She enjoys helping new archers discover what Asiatic archery is and how to apply these techniques in a competition setting.

Dieter who holds a deep respect for martial traditions, leads much of TAA’s technical training. He focuses on preserving authentic methods while making practice approachable for today’s archers, blending history with hands-on experience.

Both enjoy sharing their passion, preserving tradition, and welcoming new archers into this growing community.
